Restylane® is a gel that is injected into the skin in order to add volume to lips and lift up wrinkles and folds. Restylane® consists of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance already present in your body. Once in   body the skin, Restylane® works by creating volume. Some dermal fillers are derived from animal substances. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane® is non-animal.

Radiesse,  is made of synthetic calcium  hydroxlapatite  microspheres, a substance commonly

found in the body. In addition to adding volume to the skin, Radiesse has been shown to stimulate

the production of new collagen. These quick, easy treatments can     be used to effectively to correct facial folds and wrinkles such as forehead creases, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, smooth wrinkled and enhance the chin and jaw line.

Juvederm is a non-surgical, injectable gel used to restore the skin’s volume and provide correction of  wrinkles and nasolabial  folds. From the creators of Botox ® Cosmetic, Juvederm is considered a “next generation” injectable, it is a dermal  facial  filler  made of a smooth consistency gel that is composed of cross-linked hyaluronic acid. 

How many treatments are required?

 

Botox® & Fillers  produce only temporary effects; therefore, the number of treatments is determined     by the patient. Occasionally  Fillers can be permanent if the fat cells survive in the targeted facial area, so it is possible that only one treatment may be necessary. However, most fat fillers fade away after a

few months, and treatment may continue if  the patient desires. 

 

 

 Will there be any downtime?

 No, there is no downtime. You may immediately return to your daily routine.

Are there any possible side effects?

Each treatment carries its own side effects. The most common among these are uneven         texture of  the skin, swelling and scarring. The risk of these side effects is minimal. 

Are the injections painful?

Injections are very small and done with a tiny needle that usually does not cause discomfort.                                             The pressure sensation associated with the injection goes away very quickly and patients can

return to normal activities immediately after the procedure. 

 

When will I notice the difference and how long will it last? 

Botox®  treatment takes three to eight days to take full effect which sometimes can be hastened by                   contracting the facial muscles. The results usually last from 3 to 6 months. Often, repeated treatments                         can lead to longer results. The effects of Botox® Cosmetic are confined to the treatment sites.

 

Instructions for before treatment:

Tell your medical professional about any allergies you have, any serious medical conditions and                 all medications  you are taking, both prescription and non-prescription. Carefully follow any             instructions given to you regarding eating, drinking, smoking and vitamins. To reduce bruising,                 avoid anticoagulants, aspirin and other blood thinners for a week before treatment.

                 

Instructions for after treatment:

Avoid vigorous activity directly after treatment, and continue to avoid  

blood thinners until bruising diminishes.
